Surf Coast Toy Library utilise a database called Mibase Online to manage loans and returns.
This program allows members to login to see the toys they have checked out and renew toys. Members can see the entire toy collection; including photos and the list of pieces. You are also able to sign up for your volunteer duty roster via Mibase.

Visiting the Toy Library Social Story
Many children find returning toys a tricky part of the Toy Library experience or may like to know how the Toy Library works before coming in.
We have developed a social story for members to share with their child/ren. Social stories are a social learning tool that supports the meaningful exchange of information. While they are often used specifically for children with autism, they are also a great tool to use with all children. Click the link to access the Social Story.
This social story was developed by one of our committee members who works as a Teacher and has had it approved by a Speech Pathologist.
